LOW INCOME EFFICIENCY PROGRAM RESULTS 

  • 24,500 low income homes owned by low income Nova Scotians have had free energy efficiency retrofits by Efficiency Nova Scotia's HomeWarming since 2006 (fall 2023) 
  • Average annual energy bill savings for program participants are $1,700 (non-electrically heated homes) and $860 (electrically heated homes).
  • Over 380 buildings have had efficiency upgrades under the Affordable Multi-Family Housing Program - apartment buildings, shelters, non profits.
